Stories, reported by award-winning, veteran broadcast journalist and former ABC News and CNN anchor/correspondent Carol Lin, will help the world understand the courage of survivors, the need for early detection and the truth that Lung Cancer is everyone’s challenge. You’ll meet Doreen Schmitt, NEVER-smoker, mother of three, who is outwitting her diagnosis with grit and courage even as her husband is battling colon cancer. Then there’s Gabby, age seven, whose own diagnosis has made her the youngest of heroes as she raises awareness. This is just a taste of what’s to come.

This is the next generation web channel that is part of a larger health initiative by the Stanford Research Institute (SRI International) called TulaHealth.  Simply by watching, commenting, and sharing your story,  your solutions, how you fought your disease, comforted your family, and made critical choices about your treatment on the LungTube, you’ll be helping the next patient or family facing their diagnosis. Your stories will be shared with the next generation of patients who need that information the most. We hope that our stories will inspire countless numbers of survivors to share their survival tactics on the LungTube and play on our social media suite where you’ll be able to watch, comment, create your own stories and campaign on behalf the mission of the BJALCF.  The LungTube and Carol Lin Reporting…coming to you April 23rd 2009.
