URGENT MESSAGE TO ALL OUR BAY AREA SUPPORTERS!
It appears that San Francisco’s famously unpredictable weather has put a crimp in our plans to educate the world about lung cancer.
Steve Harvey’s show featuring the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation scheduled for tomorrow, September 19, will likely be pre-empted by continuing coverage of the America’s Cup Finals. That means the Bay Area won’t see the actual show until it airs during summer reruns.
We are coordinating with Steve Harvey’s producers and they are sending us a link to view our segment, and we will post the link to our website and send it out via email tomorrow as soon as we receive it.
The Steve Harvey Show will air tomorrow uninterrupted across the rest of the country, raising much-needed awareness for our tireless efforts to beat lung cancer and give deserved visibility to our Foundation.
While this hasn’t gone as planned here in the Bay Area, I can tell you we were all thrilled by the opportunity to bring our message of hope to the national stage. And we will continue to do so, starting with our Your Next Step is the Cure 5k run in San Francisco in a week and a half. If you haven’t already signed up, please do so at lungcancerfoundation.org.
