Coming Soon! “Navigating Lung Cancer, 360 of HOPE” Version 2

Posted by Gianna Nannini on January 27th, 2015 |

ALCF’s Patient Education Handbook, V.2, will soon be available. This free publication will include updates on new FDA approved drugs, molecular testing, immunotherapy, reimbursement and more, and entirely new with V.2 is a Special Clinical Trials Report. In keeping with our commitment to make the PEH available to diverse populations, V.2 will be available in Chinese, with plans for a Spanish version now in the works.

Released for the first time through ALCF, the Special Clinical Trials Report is written in patient-friendly, easy-to-understand language by Ross Camidge, MD, PhD, University of Colorado, a leading lung cancer clinician. This new 50-page pamphlet will help patients and caregivers to understand: how clinical trials work; their importance to discovery and patient treatment; how trial participation benefits each individual patient as well as others; etc.

Help someone navigate lung cancer with hope and critical information. Stand with a lung cancer patient NOW by giving them an ALCF education handbook!
